VOTE FOR ME!! You hear this from all the candidates, but then you have to ask WHY? In my case, the answer is simple.
Vote for me because Tom Dooley is the one candidate that is on your side! The one candidate that will work to help YOU! The candidate that is most like YOU!
Are you tired of going to the polls and voting for the lesser of evils? Are you tired of going to the polls and knowing that whichever candidate you choose, it will just be more of the same old more government, more taxes, more control of your life?
If so, then now is the time to get excited! There is finally a candidate running you can vote for with pride and confidence.
I didn't come from a rich family; I just worked hard and finally managed to start my own business.
Unlike some candidates, I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth and I am not a career politician. Instead, I have worked and lived a real life just like most of you. I have served this great country, and I have worked to make things better for my family.
I put in almost 14 years in the United States Army where I was a Platoon Sergeant. After serving in the army, I moved to Ringgold and went to work in a carpet mill.
Some31 years ago, when I joined the Army, I gave an oath to uphold the Constitution. There is no statute of limitations on that oath. That is why I want to represent you in the Georgia House of Representatives. There I can uphold both the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Georgia.
As a citizen of this great state, I worked to achieve the Great American Dream of owning my own business. I know firsthand the needs of businessmen in Georgia. I also know firsthand the needs of workers and families in Georgia.
As a business man I know the government policies and regulations that are stifling our businesses and which in turn stifle our economy,
I will fight to get the state government out of the way by reducing the unnecessary regulations that are so prevalent.
The only favors I owe are to the people and businesses of the 3rd district! That is why you should vote for me! I believe in lower, not higher taxes. I believe in less regulation, not more. I KNOW I am not your nanny. I know you are intelligent enough to make your own personal decisions.
My first question when looking at a bill will be "Is it Constitutional under both the U. S. and Georgia Constitutions? If it is not, then I will not support it.
I, Tom Dooley am the candidate most like you, a working person, a businessman, a family man and a lover of American Freedom.

Being a working man and not having a personal fortune, however, means I need your help with this campaign. I don't have a few million of my own inherited money to put into this campaign. I don't have special interest PAC's sending me money. In order for you to still see my name on the ballot when the final vote comes along, I need your help.
At least you can feel good about contributing to the campaign of a man who wants the same things you want, government off your back and out of your pocketbook. A man with a plan to do things that will help to make this happen.
Please seriously consider sending a contribution to help me take your fight to Atlanta. Help me be YOUR voice in Atlanta.
Help get one of YOU elected. Prove that you can send a man to Atlanta who is not just another politician, just another one who is clueless about what your real life is like.
Lord knows I know how hard times are and how hard it is to part with a dollar, but please consider the money you give not as a donation, but as an investment in your own future and the future of your family.
If you can spare 5 dollars, 10 dollars, 25 dollars, even 100 dollars or more, please send it to my campaign fund and help a real Georgian, a real person like you, get elected.
If you have no money to spare, maybe you can hand out cards or leaflets or other material, or maybe you can just tell your friends, co-workers and fellow church members about me. If you are laid off from work, spend some time helping me get elected and I will do all I possibly can to get Georgia's economy going again and help you get back to work. Anything you can do to help will be appreciated.
Keep in mind that I will be representing YOU! Feel free to contact me with questions and suggestions. If you ask me a question, even if you don't like the answer, at least you will get an answer, not a run-around like you get from normal politicians, but an honest answer. If you make a suggestion, you can know I will take it seriously and give it thought, not just dismiss it as my opponents probably will.
I hope you will forgive me for writing this like I think I am someone special. Among normal hard working folks, I am not special.
However, I believe that among politicians I do stand out simply because I am more like you than like them.
I support; Reduce Government Intrusion, Balanced Budget, Lower Taxes, 2nd and 10th Amendments and individual freedom for Georgians.
