I was born on May 4th 1960 in Inglewood California. I was raised by two hard working Americans, who taught me to first and foremost to have faith and trust in God. I was brought up to be honest and truthful. Part of being honest and truthful is to be honest and truthful to ones’ self. I strive to keep that commitment of being true to myself as well as to my beliefs.
I graduated from Orange High School in 1978. Upon graduation I entered the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. This was my first experience outside the United States. My eyes were opened to how great our country really is. In traveling Europe I met some really interesting people, but I realized that their systems of government cannot compare with ours.
In 1982, I married my beautiful wife and the mother of our four children. My wife and I worked hard to teach our children the core values that this country was founded on. Children, as many people know, develop their own independent views which we tried to enhance and mold throughout their lives. In addition to our four children, my wife and I are blessed with eight wonderful grandchildren who light up our lives.
In 1992, I moved to Ringgold Georgia and began working in a carpet mill. In 1994, My wife and I scraped together a few thousand dollars to start a small business while I still worked in the carpet mill. In 1995, I left the carpet mill to operate the business full time. My wife and I still manage that business today. I learned that with hard work and self reliance you can achieve anything in this great nation.
My philosophy for life is that with a belief in God, honesty, hard work, and perseverance, you can accomplish anything. We have a duty and responsibility to our family, community, nation and fellow man.
